Dodge Dakota 1997 Wiring 298000 miles
Car shut off while driving. Then crank no start, could hear fuel pump work. When checked for spark found ignition coil wire to distributor melted to exhaust. Spark never reached distributor. Changed wire starts fine

My truck will idle fine in park... when placed in drive, when coming to a stop or idling in gear the truck stalls... it will restart no problem... I have replaced the EGR valve because there was a code for the EGR, I also changed the air filter because it has been quite a while.

My 95 Dakota sport will crank and run fine and cut off going down the road and then crank back up

I let it hold back in gear letting the exhaust sound off when i got back in it to crank it it just turns over but wont start
