Radio works but no sound
BMW 4 Series 2016 435i 127000 miles
The radio fuses all work but there is no sound. Screen says "No warning tones". Please advise

My to try and pull out your main unit make sure everything is good no loose wires an the same for the amp. I believe some model bmws have a reset option on a scanner but don't quote me.

If you have no other chimes like door chime, check the amp. All sound runs through the factory amp and it likely shorted out. May need replacement. It’s almost never the head unit. Edit: I saw another poster that had no Bluetooth connectivity, that is not an issue you’ll typically have with a blown amp. That very well may be head unit. If the stereo connects to nav, apple car play (if available), Bluetooth, phone calls, etc, but there’s just no sound, it is almost always the amp (assuming fuses are all good).
