Blowing Whitish Smoke sometimes when accelerating SolvedSolved

Suzuki SX4 2012 Sedan/2.0/ ATM 105000 miles
Sometimes when we put our foot down the vehicle will start Pinging and start to blow whitish smoke out the exhaust, if we back off and let it idle for a few seconds it gives a few small puffs and then clears. It's using a little bit of oil, there is no coolant leaking or usage, no water in the oil. Any ideas what it maybe, Thanks

Hi there, did you ever find out what was causing the issues with the car? We have one here doing similar things. Gets smoky, motor runs poor, then switch it off and its normal again.

Hi yes sorted it out. It was a partially blocked PVC valve in the cylinder head, unscrewed it, sprayed with Brakeclean and washed it out with petrol. Stopped that problem straight away. If the valve doesn't rattle when you shake it after cleaning then you will need to buy a new PCV valve from EBAY Suzuki are exoensive
