Starter button... hopefully not the starter
Nissan March 2010 manual, hatchback 156000 miles
After recharging the dead battery all the electronics (dashboard, headlights, stereo, windows) all work fine. However, when I push the starter button, nothing happens. The battery for the key is new. Please help!!

@MaggieOpen your spark plugs... pour some oil and fuel in there... install the spark plugs and start the car... NB it will smoke at first

Helloo having the same problem you must change the bcm... body control module... the main causes is humidity

Well I got sorted, my friend mechanic told me disconnect the negative black pipe from battery for few mins , then reconnect it and the push stop started first time round, it just needed to register my key again after my battery was recharged

I got this sorted after I charged up my battery , my friend told me disconnect the black (-) negative side off battery pipe for few mins , then reconnect pipe, and my start stop button worked straight away car was back working perfectly it just needed to re register the keys

I have a Nissan March Advance 2015 and I've noticed that, when turning the air conditioning on and changing gears with the gear shift, the engine feels quite forced between gear and gear. Sometimes, I even feel that engine asks for a higher gear itself, it jumps fast and it is reflected in the tachometer. This does not happen when the air conditioning is off. Is it normal?

Yes, it is normal. The air conditioning compressor uses power from the engine to work. That happens in all vehicles, but it might be less noticeable in cars with bigger cylinder blocks.

The first week after I bought my car, I had my cell phone connected to the auxiliary input as well as to a charger, when the stereo made a strange noise; it was a kind of whistle, after which the stereo turned off and immediately started working again. This weekend, the same failure appeared, but this time with an iPod connected in the USB port. The difference was that, after the whistle, the stereo did not start working until I turned the engine off and started it again. On Sunday, I washed my car with the iPod connected in the USB port one more time. Once I finished, I removed the keys. Later, I started the engine and the stereo did not turn on. Today, the car is in the agency and I still do not know the cause of the problem.

Finally, it turned out to be that the stereo broke down; it simply stopped working. Luckily, the warranty is not expired yet and a replacement will be installed soon. However, it worries me that a new vehicle hits the market with this kind of failures.

My Nissan March car always consumes alot of water or coolent so each kilometer I have to stop and refill the radiator. What's the problem?

One day, it rained strongly for about an hour and my vehicle was parked outside. Water filtered through the doors and from under the vehicle. It was made evident that the car is not properly sealed but, apart from that, after water entered, the steering commands stopped working and the immovilizer module was left sulphated and useless. Even more, the audio system occasionally fails and blocks, and the bluetooth connection does not work at all. Water also entered my car but, in my case, it filtered through the glove compartment, because the windshield wipers fluid reservoir was blocked.

Key lock entry

Key entry works off and on. Alarm system always coming on if key works at times, it's disgusting to hear the horn because the key not unlocking the door so I have open manually with key
