My 2000 eclipse rs will not accelerate properly doesn't matter if I slowly accelerate or floor it sputters and hesitates it starts around 40mph and continues its just really sluggish. Transmission slips in and out of gear in reverse or drive only when I first start it. I can crank it up put it in reverse without touching the gas and it will push me for a second and stop push for a second and stop, does the same thing in drive too well after it does it about 20 times it will stay in gear and I’ll be able to drive it anywhere i want without slipping or jerking or the entire time it’s like when it warms up it’s completely fine.
