Mercury Milan 2010 sedan 121000 miles
I drive it for hours cut it off, won't start. Let it sit for a day won't start. Replace battery several times, still won't start. If I unplug the battery cable when I cut it off, connect back and the car will start

Crank but won't stay running

Mercury Milan 2008 Premier V6 3.0 146204 miles
My car got broken into the stolen my stereo in the app as well as my battery and everything from the throttle body down. I have replaced my battery, air intake system, mass airflow sensor, starter, spark plugs, manifold gaskets and the fuel pump. I had to reset the fuel pump shut off switch, and thr car finally turned over but then died. Almost as if it was starving for fuel however I have 60 to 70 psi at the fuel rail. But it almost sounds like a vacuum leak, which I've been unsuccessful in finding one. Also when cranking the car and pushing on the gas pedal it's like the pedal is not even working, it had zero affect on it at all. But when the car is off and I push on the pedal u can hear it in the throttle body. Help I'm at a loss...

I had this same problem and it ended up actually being a vacuum seal. Make sure to look under your Air Intake system, there’s a tube that attached to the bottom of your throttle body. Mine came loose when I was messing with it and it did exactly what you explained. After i got the tube back in though, everything worked fine.

When i turn off my car the cooling fan stays on to the point of draining my battery. I had to take out my 60A fuse to stop it from running continuously.
