I’m having the same issue on my 2013 Hyundai Sonata Limited, does have 218k miles on it, I did have a faulty head gasket and replaced it thinking it would solve the oil consumption because of the leak. After a few weeks it started with the black smoke when accelerating after a stop and refilling with 1 qt of oils every few days.
I would say it’s more fuel to air ratio creating this problem. OBD 11 scanner is not picking up any more codes!
