It’s a JDI system. You are most likely noticing it at lower speeds in those gears just refresh your transmission oil and motor oil.

Hyundai Sonata 2016 2.4L SE 171345 miles
Engine revs up to 5k rpm and doesn’t want to shift until I let off the gas. It has no acceleration. Smelled a burning plastic smell earlier. No dash warning lights are on.
