When placing the key in the ignition it will not turn. And warning signal on the dash indicates the vehicle is not in park. I've released the shifter into neutral. Still will not turn on and replace back into Park position. Still will not turn on with key.

Dash lights comes up

Those lights comes up in no specific time, when they did, comes up 3 times and the last time stays up until switch off the car. The car still works perfectly. What exactly is the problem? I think it’s just a sensors fault. Can I fix it by myself?

It is almost 2 years since the dashboard started turning off for around 5 seconds and then activates again. It does also lose energy when it is stopped, and I notice this thanks to the clock, which suddenly indicates 0:00:00 and this means there was an energy loss. I have recently taken it to the electrician because the fan was not working at idle speed, only at high speeds and not even properly: making a huge noise and starting every 4 or 5 minutes. The same thing happened to my Ford Fiesta 2007 and it ended up being that the wire that is adjusted to the positive terminal was damged and did not make a good contact. When driving along a bump or hole on the street, such wire was disconnected from the battery or got a bit loose and the dashboard then turned off due to a lack of energy. I replaced the wire for a new one and the problem was solved.

in case you have a blinking reading on your odometer saying "EAC FAIL" and you are not able to rev over 3000 rpm. (on a diesel engine) remove the relais for the glow plugs which is related behind the left front headlamp. screwed to the ecu box. start the motor, if the warning is gone, the repais is blown which has to be replaced.

Only some days after driving along a street which was a little bit flooded, I was driving normally when a yellow light with a punctuation mark in the middle turned on, the one that has to do with the transmission according to the manual. Suddenly, the speedometer stopped working and the car wouldn't gear (it is automatic), but after a while of waiting, it started working properly back again. I took the vehicle to the agency, it was checked and it is not failing any more, but still that yellow light appears every now and then and disappears the same way. Might it be that there is still some water in any contact? If anyone knows something about this problem, I would really appreciate your help.

Probably, some transmission sensors' connectors were wet, so I recommend you to remove them one by one, clean each of them with contact cleaner, disconnect the battery for around 10-20 minutes and that should solve the problem. I would personally choose to disconnect the negative terminal.

I replaced the immobilizer and I stick my key in and turn it on but nuthing it won't start my lights flash off and on from the alarm system I have to unhook the battery for them to turn off and in my dash it reads key not detected

I have recently had a service but before then I was driving about 40mph and the car just wouldn’t accelerate it had power but wouldn’t accelerate now after the service it has done the same thing it will pull back for a second then it just lost all acceleration but had power to it still I tried changing gears nothing happens but it does rev as is in too low of a gear I’ve had 2 mechanics look at it and can’t tell whats going on and the spanner light keeps coming on before the car pulls back but last night when it broke down I had the MIL light come on the spanner light battery light was red and check engine oil light come on can anyone please help.

If anyone else is having this problem I got the brake switch replaced and that seemed to fix the problem hope this helps

When driving with a full sufficient fuel my car will provide a warning that the fuel is low the fault sounds the notification sound illuminates the low fuel lamp on the dash and then clears the notification by its self. This happens at random speeds all levels of fuel in the tank etc.

Accelerator pedal codes are thrown changed throttle body the pedal checked fuses traced wire a little bit still no luck It doesn't stall but a big power cut back
I also have the same problem. I have open the hood after it had stalled and found that the bottom hose has shrinked. I open the radiator cap and air came out and the bottom hose was normal. This problem it has become a constant thing.

My 2012 ford fiesta is not starting when I try to start the car. There is no cranking sound. Only the lights on the dashboard turn on. Already checked the alternator, not it. Got a new battery, and that's not the problem. Changed the starter on the car, not the problem either. If the fuses might be the problem, what fuses should I be checking? Or what other problem could it be?

Can anyone tell me how to reset the system on my fiesta 1.25 (1965 model). I recently went to Wales and just before arriving at my destination I got a message on the screen telling me to check my tyre pressures, which I did put some more air into them but the screen tells me each time I switch on "check tyre pressures" I've read the manual and all it tells me is to reset the system.It does'nt say how. 78 year old confused lady.

There's a good chance that the tire sensor isn't working. Have it checked by a tire professional. May need to be replaced.

At least once a drive I get a warning on my dashboard that says low oil pressure and sometimes the light turns off instantly and other times it stays on then the service light comes on and the power in my accelerator drops and I have noticed it happens a lot more often when going up hill but does also happen when driving on flat roads

Hello, car had used engine installed that had 15,000 miles. Only problem that returns is a misfire when accelerating to pass someone or when getting to highway speed it shutters and loses minor power as well as flashing check engine light. Codes read misfire for cylinder 1,2,3 but sometimes only 1 and 2.
Installed new OEM sparkplugs, coil pack, and coil wires.
Car works perfectly besides the random misfire.

My car occasionally starts in a strange way, especially during cold starts — it happens more often when the engine is cold. The engine runs with a knocking sound, the tachometer stays at 0, the battery light comes on, and blue smoke comes out of the exhaust. After about 30–40 seconds, the engine sound returns to normal, the tachometer starts working, and the battery light goes off. However, even after the engine stabilizes, it doesn’t respond to the accelerator for a short while. The blue smoke from the exhaust continues for a bit, then gradually decreases.
