So I can move my steering wheel, up and down but when it comes to moving it away from you or towards you it doesnt move and starts making grunt noises. I need to fix it and not sure where to start because its getting annoying
Be trying to purchase a new or good second had black steering wheel with controls for 1999 Ford Explorer. Have found a couple but are are in as bad condition as the one I have, I'm in Western Australia, Australia...
The control panel, radio, entertainment not working. The touch screen will turn on the heated seats, steering wheel, and temperature in the vehicle. You can answer call but nothing comes thru the speakers. Removed battery cable for 1hr and still same issue.
The screen and radio has gone out a number of times, but after messing with the battery it usually comes back on. This time it's been out for over a week and we've unhooked the battery a few times and it's not restarting this time.
My AC will not blow cold. I will just blow whatever temp is outside. Heat works fine. I replaced the outside sensor in front of the grill, the sensor on the inside under the steering wheel and replaced fuses and relays. The compressor will not turn on HOWEVER it WILL turn on if I jump the relay terminal with some wire. I have tried 3 different relays.
Volume stopped working suddenly. When turning the volume knob, nothing happens. When pushing the volume button on the steering wheel, it always shows volume 0 on the screen, when pressing up or down and no volume.
I have changed the battery and the starter because my car sometimes starts and then wont start. I've wiggled the ignition and the tilt steering wheel to check if it was the ignition and it started. Then i turned car off and next day would not start again. I haven't gotten the car to start again since. Maybe relay?
