There are a few potential causes for this issue. One possible cause is a problem with the headlight switch, which may not be sending the correct signal to the headlights. Another possibility is a problem with the wiring, such as a loose connection or a damaged wire. It could also be an issue with the headlight bulbs themselves, such as a blown fuse or a faulty bulb.

Did all of the above and it turned out to be the connector was burned out. I first installed new led bulbs and headlights were still dim. So took off the new lightbulb with its connector and the connector from the housing was burned out. The mechanic should have noticed it when putting a new lightbulb and didn't. I did it! But I don't know what the part is called to buy it. Can anyone help me? Please

Headlight stopped working

Chevrolet Silverado 1995 C1500 6 cylinder 2 wheel drive 204134 miles
They worked last night and I think I turned them on when it was still daylight and they worked. Then once it got dark I was trying to go to the store and started driving down the road and noticed they weren't working. I was just going to turn my high beams on and drive like that but they aren't even working either. My turn signals work and nothing else. Not even the back running lights. We'll actually the back brake lights do work and also the turn signals
