Overheating and thermostat

Chevrolet Cruze 2010  90000 miles
It's been three years since I bought my car and it has 90000 km and its problem is that it is overheating and the antifreeze evaporates. I've been checking it and noticed that there is liquid near the thermostat, so it seems to be the thermostat that is failing. What do you think?

Hi, by what you say, it seems evident that the thermostat is damaged and thus is no longer useful. You should change it, as well as plumbing the radiator so that the water can flow easily and thus not have overheating problems. I hope my comment helps you.

Lasted a few months. started to overheat again.
I do not have a pressure tester. It has sat over a year now, needed to jump start to move around. Just jump started this past weekend it was running over an hour without getting hot. Kept in normal temperature range.Has anyone one else have an issue?

Thanks

I had the same problem. I put a new thermostat in but continued to overheat. I ended up finding the problem. There was a crack in my reservoir filling bottle. I got some JB Plastic Weld put it on there and it has not overheated after that.
