Hi everyone,
I have a Chevrolet Aveo 2012 1.4 petrol, and I’m struggling with a serious issue. The engine sometimes shuts off suddenly while driving. After it dies, it won’t start again for a long time; sometimes I have to wait almost a day. When it does start, it may run fine for a while, then shut off again.
Symptoms:
The engine stalls while driving.
Won’t start immediately after shutting off.
No check engine light or stored codes in the ECU currently.

My Aveo hatch back 2011 1.6 consume more fuel. Send it to my mechanic to check on it he said I should check if the converter catalyst is working properly, I sent it to exhaust specialist to check and he conclude that the converter catalyst is spoilt so I have to replace it. Please could it be the reason why it consume more fuel? I need help

Check your all fuel injector.check each injector supply the correct amount of fuel.

Died on my way to the store. Now it won't start. Replaced coil pack, plugs and wires, cam shaft sensor, crank shaft sensor, water reservoir tank, water pump l, timing belt. I'm beyond frustrated

Leaking valve cover gasket

The oil is leaking into the cover gasket seemingly from air pressure under it so the car plugs are dranched in oil cause low power of 1st gear clutch control and others, when driving it makes a lot of noise which for its make is quite unusal for its make or rather model

Rattling noise around timing belt cover

I was on a trip about 60 miles and got side tracked slowed down to turn around and heard this rattling noise but when i got up to speed around 40 and above the noise stopped no warning lights came on no smoking oil level is good temperature normal nothing till i slow down then it starts when i start the car cold it is loud till it warms up then it calms down i listened it is coming from the timing belt area but like i said i have been driving it and at low speeds u can hear it 40 and above nothing sounds normal again like i said no warning lights or smoking or loss of power at all, I have had… Read complete

I replaced the main relay (R4, Crank/Run) again and started checking connectors. When I unplugged the ignition coil connector, I noticed the rubber sealing ring inside was slightly out of place. Because of that, the connector couldn’t fully seat. I gently pushed the rubber ring back where it should be and made sure all the pins in the connector were properly aligned. I also checked the ground wire to the chassis.
After putting everything back together, the car started right up with no issues. I’ve been driving for over a week now, and everything is working perfectly.
So after spending money on multiple parts (some replaced twice, like the crankshaft sensor), the actual cause was a small wiring/connector issue. Lesson learned: always check wiring and grounds before replacing major components.
