I own an Audi a4 Berlina Sline and, at its 2300 miles, an oil absence alarm turned on, I was told this was an ordinary failure, oil was added to it and the alarm disappeared. At its 5400 miles, the same thing occurred and it has now happened once more at its 6000 miles. I've already added around a liter or oil that was missing. Is this really something that happens to every Audi? Is there something I can do to solve it? Hope you can help me, and thanks.

Audi has oil consumption problem from 2005 and up A4 2.0 t,A6 3.2 and 4.2. I use to work for Audi there is a problem. I was informed to weigh old oil and then weigh the new oil all kinds of stuff they were trying never got the problem solve till i was there 2010. After warranty expires customers on their own. Sad to drive such a high end car which guzzles oil as much as gas.

It was minor at first, a slow drain over a week, when the car was locked and car alarm active. If the the car was unlocked, for a month, it was fine. In the last month, it's gotten much worse.
The battery is about three(3) years old. After being on a battery tender overnight, the battery would show 12.9 volts. Idling it would show ~13.4 - 13.5 volts.
Now if the car is locked the drain is rapid, over the course of three hours(3), it had to be boosted to re-start. If the car is unlocked overnight, there's still a battery drain, and the car must be boosted to start.

The battery in my Audi a4 b8 has died and the car is locked and I am unable to unlock it the key is won’t unlock it with the buttons or the key in the car cause it won’t twist. I managed to the bonnet open to try jump the battery but still doesn’t work
