Car won't start until the security light goes off sometimes it never goes off!So like everyone else sometimes starts sometimes won't? Diagnostic test showed nothing!

Well there's a code B2799 which means your code that marries to the key. But it keeps resetting to a different code after you take key out possibly the key itself? Will give update when I find out!

Put a new alternator and will start sometimes just like before haven't got new key yet will update then!

Must be copy. Transponder in key not a full match, ignition switch going out. But usually it’s the key. Veeeeeerrrrrrry rare it isn’t.

Ranger 1999 When n park it sometimes starts, if not I put it n neutral n it starts. Now it won't start at all. Has new battery.
