The best:The best car for both commuting and short distance drivers, with good care( Service and General Maintance) it lasts longer.
The worst:These cars have no analog engine temp gauge, which leads to oil mixing with the coolant, this is normally throught the gear box or the engine itself.
The best:X-mod
The best:I love how Ruby it is. It looks eye appealing. All my friends always make a compliment on it..
The worst:It just seems like I've had a lot of problems since day one. I try to take care of it. Do the oil changes on time. Just really weird problems
The worst:the dashboard so dim it cannot be read.passenger seat not electric. rear hatch is a total bitch - hood will cut your head off. Hope that both people like the same temp, because that is the only option. Want to modify the engine so it is not a total slug, fat chance. at least you can buy and install decent sway bars for the Subaru (only use whiteline). We had a 97 Volvo 850 only internal changes were new vanes in the turbo, different injectors and reprogramming the ECU. Of course the airflow in and out went from 2.5 to 3 ". Milage did not change, and it was fun watching people who thought they were in hot cars ending up 150 or 200 ft behind me by the next light and that was not pushing it.
You would think with the WRX things would be easer.
The best:My first car and has lasted me 2 years with only a few changes and overheated a bit but I got it fixed in like a hour. Drifts good in my yard and is very fun to drive doesn’t sound the coolest but will get all the bitches you need.
The worst:Overheating problems, and has an engine shake that idk what to do about, also looks kinda gay and my friends at school make fun of me for it.
The best:Great gas mileage (up to 38mpg highway, 26 street), great AWD, very nice quality interior, plethora of features and firm handling on the road with drive assist. Useful traction/transmission modes for different road conditions.
The worst:Some features on car such as Start-Stop, Dash Camera, and seatbelt alert can be annoying to deal with. Some questionability on Subaru data collection and driver privacy (though this is the case with most post-2020 automobiles in the U.S.). Have had drive assist turn off once without any warnings and multi-media display sometimes does not come on, requiring car restart. Also get a BSD/RCTA dash error, usually driving under bridges, which is due to faulty or misaligned radar sensors in bumper(s). Expensive to calibrate and replace by dealership only.
The best:It's a pretty durable car. My forester is a 1998 with over 300,000 miles on it and still going. It even had damage done to the steering wheel and column when I got it and still ran and drove!! The absolute best feature is the AWD!!
The worst:Something on this vehicle are trickier to get to, and other things a just flat out difficult. The wiring has been an issue but that's mostly due to the damage it had when I got it.
