Hi everyone,
I’m experiencing persistent issues with my Seat Ibiza FR 2013 (1.2 105hp), and I need some advice. Here are the details:
• The car mostly starts and works great. almost once or twice a week, engine wont start - i hear the starter works but nothing.
• It also shut off suddenly while driving and would not restart (happened several times)
After 20 minutes- 3 hours maybe, the car will start without doing anything, just waiting.
Parts i have replaced during the fix attempts:
The immobilizer, ECU, fuel pump, battery, crank sensor.

For about 2 years the engine without any sign just refuse to start. I need 2-3 minute to start it. Then the problem disappear for 2 weaks. After that it happen again. Same day twice, and disappear again for another 2 months. Then again. No signs of any pattern. Now its fine for like 3 or 4 months.
The engine random stops after i push in the clutch. But i can restart it with the key, or with the clutch but that is not the greatest idea. What can i do on a highway with 130-150?... I has to do that.

This is not dangerous, or something like that, but without it happening front of the service they can do nothing. I'm waiting for that something to broke finally and i can replace it. But nothing yet. It's just annoying that i have this problem an nobody know how to fix it.
RAC investigation 1 - Recommended a complete new set of spark plugs. So these were replaced.
RAC Investigation 2 - diagnostic showed intermittent relay fault along with error codes. Was told I needed to replace O2 Sensors. Work booked in and carried out.
Car wouldn't start after these have been changed. RAC mechanic then re diagnosed and intermittent relay fault was now showing.
RAC Mechanic visit -3 came to replace all Relays as he was convinced it was now a relay fault. All relays changed, No effect had what so ever. Car will only turn over now and will not start at all. Told me I needed an Auto Electrician as he had no idea what was wrong.
Auto Electrician visit. Diagnosed way more faults than RAC, Did a thorough check of all fuses relays and possible wiring issues. All were found to be good. His recommendations were to contact dealer for a new programmed ECU.
The car is on the drive un startable. If a new ECU is required then the car will be scrapped.
Any help anyone can offer would be very much appreceated.
