In January 2026 I go a letter from Peugeot saying that my car is called in for recall at the camshaft. I booked at the closest Peugeot dealership. Same day they given the ar back. After just 40 mile sa is like 2 days after the engine light came on and the car started not working properly. I call them and they booked me in march. My Peugeot 508 Hybrid, year 2013, won’t start. All the dashboard warning lights come on, but the car doesn’t start. A message says: “Engine fault: please stop the vehicle. ”
I believe the traction battery is no longer working, and I think that’s what needs to be replaced.
