Head gasket most likely don’t think it’s possible for turbo to contaminate coolant. Due to age of vehicle I wouldn’t recomend doing the head. Buy a bottle of steal seal £30 flush the cooling system fill it up and read the bottle directions. This will permenantly seal the head or your money back. May get you some more miles out of her at not much cost. Hope this is helpful

Volkswagen Passat 2008 Sedan 94000 miles
I’ve just had the radiator reservoir replaced and a rocket cover kit done. But Everytime I turn off my car I can still hear a motor running for about 3-4 minutes then it just stops.

Yes, it's very likely the radiator fan that is still working for a couple of minutes

Coolant system malfunction

Volkswagen Passat 2002 GLS, station wagon, manual 5 speed 170000 miles
Had the check engine light come on a few times, the code is something to do with the coolant system. The temperature gauge doesn't like to register. Replaced the temp sensor, flushed the system, and checked for air pockets... nothing. The fuse was a little loose for the gauges, replaced it. Any ideas? Unsure if directly related, but the radiator housing unit is dual fan. I've been told that only one fan (as it is) would be spinning until i turn on the AC. Should both be spinning regardless, or is that not normal and potentially connected to the issue at hand?
