Starting

Nissan Frontier 2010  120000 miles
Hi everyone, this is my situation: due to temperature problems, the cylinder head gasket was changed. Once assembled back, it wouldn't start. The starting motor turns but he engine won't start, what means, it has no injection. The camshaft sensor has been checked and it sends the right pulsations, just as the crankshaft sensor, but the computer won't give pulse to the injectors. That is the one and huge problem. What might have happened? May have some anti-crash switch been activated? I hope someone can help me. Thanks! It would be really helpful if anyone had the injection system's diagram of the Nissan Frontier/Navara/pickup, depending on your country.

Muriel, there is a sensor which sends the signal to the injectors for its injection. It is rather usual that this sensor breaks or stops working.

I personally believe it is the distributor's coil.

That will definitely be one to write home about. I had no engine light come on. But does The same. Now the code says no communication. At least you should have a code that a auto parts store should be able to get you closer to what may work for you. Mine has one problem and it ain't giving up any information. It must want a new one for all the parts. Almost there. 🥴 Cant move a mountain but I can sure push it off one. Joking

I'm currently looking for the short that keeps blowing the 10 amp fuse for cab fuse box spot # 11. Truck won't start when this fuse blows. Note- blows fuse intermittently and warning lights on dash, like p brake will not show if fuse pops. Hope this is helpful for those that can't get to start

Starting the search for cause for no crank today. As in the past on other auto's relays grounds or fuses then sensors seem to get best results for me. Sometimes there happens to be two related relay's that need checking. And when a fuses don't light up but are good. It ends up being a relay that makes things work that didn't know the auto had. 😳👍😄 Thanks for the idea.

It might be a sensors failure that is causing your starting problem.
