Engine stalling

Hyundai Sonata 2015 Sonata, SE 4cyl 118000 miles
We just had to have to engine replaced after only owning the cat two months. The engine seized and thankfully it was under manufacturer warranty and then the place we bought it at replaced the starter and battery. Right away we had problems with the car stalling out, but that started to go away and then now we have trouble starting it,we have to crank it several times. Yesterday after cranking it about 10 times it started when I started driving and it tried stalling out twice. Check engine light came on so I took it to run diagnostic, it showed the gas pedal being bad as well as the sensor att… Read complete

Mine was doing the same & dealership said it needed new battery but it never read under 12.75 volts. Code reader said P2122 (throttle/accelerator pedal position sensor) I replaced the pedal assembly & so far so good, no more problems.

I'm trying to install a under hood light bar

Hyundai Sonata 2021 Sonata 30000 miles
What fuse can I use a fuse plug so that it lights up when the engine starts? I've tried a few but then other warning lights come on one only came on when wipers were switched on. I'm using the engine compartment fuse box.

Like the actual fuse itself? Or a warning light on the instrument panel? If the fuse, Bussman or CARAX Glow Fuse

No Power to OBD 2 Port

Hyundai Sonata 2015 SE 98300 miles
After lots and lots of diagnostic tests via a multimeter, visual inspection, changing any blown fuse (20A fuse underneath the dash for the PWR/CIG relay), which is known to also power the OBD port itself, there was still no power. I finally opened up the panel to take the OBD-2 Port out for inspection and saw the wire for pin 16 was torn out. I have no idea if this is fixable without getting an entirely new port/harness to be installed ($$$)!! So, any idea on the cheapest/easiest/most sensible route to take to get this fixed and power back to the OBD-2 Port so I can use my scan tools? (3 dif… Read complete

Going to take out the port and attached harness, attempt to take out the designated pins and install in the new OBD2 port (4-wired) replacement. I have the necessary tools for removal of the pins and wires, still self diagnosing without the most knowledge on this specific issue. We shall see, wish me luck lol!!

The Radio console stopped turning ON suddenly after cold winter night

Hyundai Sonata 2012 GLS 129866 miles
On a very cold night, I tried to connect phone with car bluetooth. It suddenly froze and stopped responding. So I decided to power it off using the Power button. After that, it did not turn on. The whole console stopped turning on. No backlit lights or any other response. I checked the fuse. And fuse seems to be fine.
Its a very basic radio. Not a touch screen or anything (I don't think they had it on any of the 2012 model). Only Radio unit is affected.

One day and out of the blue, my Bluetooth stopped working properly. It either won't connect to my phone, or it'll connect and disconnect on its own throughout the drive. I do a lot of road trips and cannot use the Bluetooth function whatsoever.

Car won't work

Hyundai Sonata 2005 V6 210850 miles
For almost 10 months the car made a very noticable knock in the engine compartment it still seemed to drive normal except for the knocking. We had people say it was a few different things it sounded like it was the crankshaft pulley, the knocking was always the same tempo if it was accelerating or at idle until last week the knock became eradic sometimes would go away and then come back even harder then it got really loud vehicle lost compression or power wouldn't accelerate and then died out and when tried to restart it really struggled to even turn over but not line a dead battery.
