Honda HR-V 2020 EX, 1.8L 86651 miles
Exactly as the title says. When I switch the headlights on, the rear tail running lights will not turn on nor will the tag lights. My brake lights, reverse lights, and blinkers all come on when they are supposed to just my taillights and tag lights. Also, my tail lights are stock LED diodes clusters. I didn't have to change out bulbs for them. I've traced both sides all the way back from the lights themselves to the fuse panel. No knicks in the wires or shorts.

I did finally figure it out. On the driverside, under the ECU and beside the battery, there is a small, dark gray or black weatherproof box about the size of a deck of cards but 3or 4 times as thick with a rather large wiring harness connected to the bottom. It has around 8 to 10 relays inside. Upon inspection, over half of the relays were disconnected. I reconnected all of them, cranked the car, and everything came on as it was supposed to. I feel this relay box needs to be included on this website. It was a critical relay box that I have yet to find on any website.

Thanks Rabbittron, this is very helpful. I will check it out and agree that the relay box that you describe should be included on the website. Also, motor vehicle manufacturers should get their act together and do a better job describing what each individual fuse and relay protects. Descriptions are ambiguous and poorly described. Auto fuse and relays should all be labeled the same for each vehicle for their purpose and this should at least be a US standard if not international. Thanks again, ScareCrow.

I have a 2023 HRV and two weeks ago. I had to get a jumpstart and I took the car to AutoZone to have the battery tested and it says that the battery is weak, however, I'm starting now the electronic brake light has come on and it will not go away. It says I need to take it to the dealership and to check my manual break if I have to stop, however this problem was not there prior to jumpstart the car and the person at AutoZone had suggested that maybe it's because I had to jumpstart it and a wire got disconnected or something

I also own a 2023 HR-V and one month ago I also had to get a jump, anyway I took it back to the dealership and had the battery tested and same results as you did, they said my battery was weak... bottom line I had to get a new battery installed. I told them I was disappointed with my car as it was only 2 1/2 years old and the battery shouldn't have died that fast
So I took it to autozone first and the battery still was weak but long story short the light was on because of the jump, I flipped the brake on and off and it went away

Display Stuck in "H" Logo Bootloop

I disconnected battery for 3+ hours in attempt to refresh center Display and it did not help. I can get display to show both backup and right turn camera views but that is all. Cannot access navigation, stereo, apps, etc. Touchscreen has no effect and neither do any of the steering wheel mounted controls. I have no error codes to help either.
