Creaking noises from suspension while driving SolvedSolved

Honda CR-V 2009 LX AWD 80000 miles
While driving hearing creaking noises mostly from the front suspension, and less so from the rear. Sounds as if rubbing on rubber. Not metal on metal.

That’s probably your sway bar links

First mechanic said I need to replace the shocks/struts and the steering gear box(rack&pinion). Would be big $$$. Another suggested its the motor mounts. When specialists don't agree, gives me anxiety, haha. It's likely to be the sway bar links and bushings. Thanks for the suggestion

There are multiple bushings that can wear out and cause noises, along with ball joints, struts, etc.

Thanks all for your help. I need to replace a tire, and get an alignment. In the process, the mechanic saw I needed to replace the ball joint. All the creaking disappeared. So, Lirpa, you nailed it! Thanks!
