Both lights will turn on and off from the time I start my truck till the time I turn it off. The oil pressure light will turn on when I get to 60mph then will stay on as well. This is a recent rebuilt engine
Mine too,Traction and Stabilitrak dash lights come on 70,100 miles on truck. I changed plugs, coils, and wires didn't help. Also a fuel leak, top of tank the return fuel line rotted and is leaking. . . . As of Jan 25 2025 I have changed the fuel pump to alleviate the fuel leaking, it was the notorious rotted return line which is part of the fuel pump and to fix it you must replace the fuel pump(it's a costly and time consuming project). . . And the lights are still on.
Traction control/Stability control warnings on, also check engine light. I have replaced all 8 ignition coils, all 8 spark plugs and all 8 wires, the light went off for a few miles then returned. I am at a loss ! I had read in a blog that when those warnings come on to do plugs wires and coils, didn't help.
Did you solve this yet, I am n getting this issue
... my truck goes off while i am driving, all those warnings pop up on the speedometer and I have to let it drag till I find a place to stop safely and then start it again after 2 to 7 mins... works for about 20 to 30mins depending on the heat outside and then stalls again
My truck does not shut off, I have been driving it with all the warning lights on for months, problem is that my vehicle inspection is way over due and I chance getting a ticket. I don't drive a hell of a lot, only when I have to. I think I have narrowed it down to the wheel speed sensors, I read somewhere so I bought all 4 now waiting for a friend to install them.My hands don't work too good so I have to have friends do it. I will post after if it worked or not. Thanks
It was the the wheel speed sensors ! I had my friend change them and it solved the problem of the dash lights on for traction controls, this all started when I got stuck in some heavy mud, I should have known, mud must have got into one of the wheel speed sensors and shorted it out. Damn ! hope this solves your problem too !
Check all of your wheel speed sensors or if your scan tool will read brake issues it will tell you which wheel it is. They are very common to fail and they are pretty easy to replace.
Installed a rebuilt crate engine due to a broken rod in the original engine. Old engine still ran with broken rod. Installed new engine and get code P0336. Truck will NOT run. New AC Delco cam and crank sensors. New connectors to the sensors soldered and heat shrunk. Get constant spark while cranking. Injector 3 and 4 only fire twice when cranking. All other injectors seem to fire constantly. We have checked, double checked, triple checked, and quadruple checked grounds. Have crank signal on scan tool. Swapped pcm and got the same results. We made a crankshaft sensor only harness and wired it straight to the pcm to rule out bad wiring within the harness, still no start and same code. Any ideas to help end this 4 month ordeal?
Reluctor ring either isn’t on the crank of new engine or has turned if their is no spark do you have fuel pressure at the rail and it’s good you can see crank signal now just see if it’s producing spark
Tried reprogramming key and even buying new ones. Doesn't work. Looked a video, and it says it could be the wireless receiver module also called key fob receiver. There is no video that I could find for my truck in particular, some sources state it is under dashboard cover, others state on the driver or passenger door, or under the center console. I checked under dashboard cover, nothing I could find. Tried the driver side door nothing there either, haven't tried passenger or under my "center console" since it a seat/ armrest. I'm trying to 1. Find it 2. Fix it.
So Jeep has soy coating on their wires and I'm kind of in the a very very rural area and in between jobs I wasn't able to drive the Jeep very much but I drove it like once every two days. Anyway long long long story short The center console arm rest area comes up and there's the occupant restraint module or whatever they call it and I'm trying to find a wiring diagram and pinout for all the stuff that's under there because basically my car won't start in the key fob won't work It did work for a while but then it just kind of quit so I did remove the armrest in center console area there's some videos on YouTube on how to do it so and the module is towards the back like near where your cup holders would be. I have SRS light and when I put the key fob to the ignition it cranks like half a second and then goes off
Kind of sounds like its in saftey mode. It's a saftey feature. I had this happen. Battery was the culprit. I replaced it, still no start. Same thing half a crank and then it went silent. Had to disconnect the battery, and the 2nd battery completely. Tried the rest for a few days to drain the memory. Didnt work. I resorted to an old trick, i touched the 2 main battery cables together for a split second. Then hooked them both back up. Truck started. Its a hard reset basically. But i warn you this can potentially fry the pcm/ecu. So do at your own risk.
Stereo quit working onstar light is not illuminated and USB ports dont work checked all grounds, fuses, wire that goes to hmi module pulled head unit out and checked all plugs also checked grounds by both dash speakers. Do I need a new battery?
Sometime my instrument cluster light goes out. All other gauges work. The dial that controls interior light does work. And I did check fuse which is still good. Pic is a still from a video I took.
