Front turn signals not working SolvedSolved

Ford Mustang 2008 V6 Ford mustang coupe 146000 miles
Neither of the front turn signals are working. The clicking on the inside is normal, not the fast click you get when the bulb needs to be replaced. Both rear turn signals work fine. Is there a fuse somewhere for the front signals?

It is possible that the issue with the front turn signals not working is due to a blown fuse. It is important to check the fuse for the turn signals and replace it if it is blown.
Additionally, the issue could be caused by a problem with the turn signal switch, the wiring, or the bulbs themselves.

This seems like a bad ground or something in alt to battery wiring. Have seen this with a over charging issue after someone doing a big 3 wiring upgrade and didn't have it done correctly. When car over charges it will go nuts all lights go out while driving everything stops working electronically in car but car would stay running. I'd look at the wiring as starting point.

Car will not start

Ford Mustang 2003 GT/4.6l 12576 miles
I was driving and all day and i cut vehicle off and when i went to start the vehicle it act like it was going to start it was like a quick vrrgh then went quiet my car is a stick manual transmission so i pop the clutch and the car started. So i figured it was the starter so i went out and purchased a new starter and put it on, and when i went to go start it same thing nothing and yes i put the starter on correctly. I check all fuses and there all good now i can't tell if relay is good or bad because the relay is all black. When I put the key in and turn the key all the lights on the dash come and everything but at that last turn i get nothing ,so I'm asking what could it be.

Ignition switch, neutral safety switch on trans or easiest is to check all the grounds.

It is the clutch switch, when u push it in, does not fully put down the safety switch, I taped two pennies on the back of mine with black tape and it has never had that issue again

Or you could reset the switch all the way back out and works perfectly again.

Burn smell when I set the heater blower to #3, SolvedSolved

Ford Mustang 2006 mustang gt 117650 miles
Burn smell when blower is on #3. I already changed out the blower motor, resistor and pictail connector wire. I recently replaced the Relay mod for the blower motor but I have not evaluated the issue for improvement yet. Is there any other suggestions that I can consider before replacing the Resistor again? Please advise.

I'm still 'not sure' if I fixed the issue yet, but so far I haven't detected any new burn smells when switched to 3. I think the Relay was the best fix of all, but no one even suggested that as the remedy. I spoke with many experts before acting on it and only spent $12. On the replacement and installed it myself. Shop charges of $150. Were avoided.

Problem locating Horn Relay SolvedSolved

Ford Mustang 2013 Convertible/5.0/Auto/GT 97000 miles
The troubleshooter on this site and many others that I have viewed, all mention that the Horn Relay could be the problem when the horn fails to function. I can only identify a 20Amp fuse for the horn but NO relay. Am I missing something obvious?

I have a 2012 GT and I am currently having that problem. Initially I took it to my mechanic a year ago and he replaced the starter and the battery. Issue continued literally the next day. Battery dead. I had been jump starting it until another person that replaced my a/c compressor said it was my radio and that Shaker systems eventually cause problems. He took out the 20 radio fuse and I have had no problem starting it until I replaced the entire radio, amp and speakers last week. Now that the fuse is back in…. Battery dead and my air conditioner is blowing hot air! So replacing the radio wasn’t my solution either. There is a parasitic drain somewhere and having to get an electrical mechanic to look at it now. I’m frustrated and trending on broke at this point...

@Bad6969BoyI replaced the old radio with a new original stock Ford radio. The brand new apple car play did not work in that car. Then I replaced the battery and Alternator and it fixed the issue.

Fuse 47 always blows

Ford Mustang 2007 Base, 4.0l v6 118000 miles
Fuse leads to maf, evap, and 4 O2 sensors, sensors are good, wires are good, on initial key turn fuse 47 immediately blows, supposed to be a 15amp but blew a 30, stuck in limp mode because of it, traced problem to the fuse box itself, replaced it and fuse still imploded

I had this issue, Found out it was the fuse so i replaced it except mine worked for awhile it popped so i just bought alot of them cause i was too busy to deal with it and just kept replacing the fuses some would last longer then others sometimes even 3 to 4weeks, Eventually the problem went away, Still don't know what it was to this day. Car seemed to have fixed itself.
Honeybadger from United States a year ago
It's a short. Mine did the same thing periodically. One of the 02 upstream wires where barley touching the frame through a very small cut in the wire. When you throddle hard (various driving conditions) it would make a solid connection and blow the fuze shorting the 02 and maf connection putting the car in limp mode. Yours should be the same however the short could be in a different location. The only way to find the short is while it is in fact shorted. Aka one side will be negative the other side of the fuze positive. Following the wire under this condition you can cut it and check both ends Following the ground (that's not supposed to be ground) until you identify it's location. Likely start at the 02 sensor as that's where mine was.

@HoneybadgerHi I'm having a problem with a short disconnect the negative. Put a test light on the post to the cable it lights up not real bright and it keeps given a code bank 2 sensor 2 I have replaced the EGR it showed a code so now the map sensor is showing a code I'm trying to track it down with a wire tracker but not having any luck not to sure about the unit on the use of it any ideas would very much be appreciated thank you my name is Harvey jones

Won’t start

Ford Mustang 2009 Ford mustang 45th anniversary edition 91000 miles
OK yesterday I started my car let it warm up and then when I was driving down the road it died. I had it towed to the shop and they checked everything and there are some pieces long. They fixed it in. My car was fine this morning I get my car to start it will start in both occasions the mileage on my car would not show up. They checked everything out yesterday and everything was perfectly fine. The motor that does everything was fine. It was just those fuses but now my car won’t start again please help.

That07stang from United States 2 years ago
It may be a connection issue with the ECU. I had the same problem with my 07 only difference was my dash shows DTE Fuel Level Low. It wouldn’t start at all no matter what. I eventually found corrosion on SJB (Smart Junction Box) which caused some short circuits to do something to my ECU. This is just a start not saying it may solve it at all. It could be as simple as a fuel pump or as complex as an ECU or CANBUS system problem. I would search more about it.

Sounds like it's needs recharged if it drops below certain level the compromise kick on as to not damage the unit when running it out. I would start with getting recharge kit and properly draining the system of all it's air then recharge it as can tells you to do so. Once system is clear of air you can then replace it with your A/C freon until your level is back up in the safe green area. Once it does you see your compressor starting to kick back on and off make sure vehicle is running and A/C is on max when adding the freon

Same issue with 6000plus I changed starter relays and fuses. Associated. Im trying the diode to pump fuse needed to order one from ford parts counter. 4 bucks for the fuse if this dont work idk. It seems like this issue isnt easy or straight forward thing. Ford said it could be, 1. Pcm 2. Wiring 3. Bad battery 4. Starter relay 5. Blown fuses 6. Starter motor 7. Transmission 8. ABS module. That's a lot of could be problems. They were so excited when I asked the cost of all those items if they were to do them with labor its ridiculous. I spent money on issues they said and im already close to a grand.
