Error Code 24 and 89

Hi.
My car started with the error code 89. It's been in the garage several times. They changed various sensors and finally replaced the thermostat sensor (or something). Now I have code 24 (after finally getting my car back after 2 weeks in the garage!). The manual says "timing belt needs replacing" but everything I find on line talks about a sensor of some sort ???? Can anyone help please?

I also have a sensor problem
It just loses all power and in 15-20 minutes it will start back up I took it to a Chevy dealership and they wanted $2500 to repair... my car has been out of service since August... I’m a senior that enjoys my independence I am still paying for a car that doesn’t run right I NEED HELP PLEASE

Maddy1974 I have the same problem with my Chevrolet Truck 1.7d 2013, with code 89 and code 24. I fixed the code 24 when I replaced the two lights should be the W5W lights for the code to disappear. But I still haven't found a solution for code 89, I replaced the thermostat and the code was not lost, replaced with new oil and filters, nothing has changed.
Change your coils or use the right antifreeze that’s suitable for your car.
@EddieIt is a 1.7 diesel engine, and the problem was the fuel temperature sensor in fuel tank i replaced and now is ok.
@Nenad231Hi , think this my problem can you tell me which sensor and where you replaced it please ?
@VixiHi there can you tell me if yours was the same? With the fuel temperature sensor in the fuel tank bacause I have the same issue. This car is a constant problem car!

After servicing my vehicle at its 3000 miles, some failures have been presenting. First of all, some maintainance sensors were not deactivated. When reaching 18000 miles, the error code 82 turned on which, according to the manual, indicates a lack of maintainance. Even more, a year after the service, strange noises started appearing in the driver's seat and a high temperature in the cabin was detected. When taking it for a revision, I was told it was the thermostat that was failing, when it was evident that the cause of the problem was the engine cooling fan, which was not working, and the coolant was at a boiling point. This temperature failure appeared in June and, it is September already and the problem has not been solved yet.

Regarding the cabin heating, the valve that allows a hot water entrance to the system to heat the cabin up must be damaged. You can replace it or else block the hoses that have to do with the heating system in the cabin. Hope my comment helps you.
Your Codes seem off, You sure it's a TRAX 2013? This is the Manual, I have the physical copy and this online version and are the same, but your codes here doesn't match, Code 82 is change oil soon, Link: http://www.gm.ca/media/owners/manuals/…
My heat and air is not blowing….what could be the cause of this?
Having kinda same issue mine doesn't work on speed 4 happened 2 other times they said it was blower motor and pigtail worked for a bit and lost 4 again
My AC is giving hot air I think it's a compressor problem

Air Filter Cabin Replacement

2015 Chevy Trax. Check Engine Light came on. Shop says the code tells them the Air Filter cabin let’s too much air and sensor won’t pick it up.
