does your speedometer still work? if it does not still work your vehicle speed sensor may have gone bad which causes you to lose power steering and the vehicle to run poorly when slowing down to a stop

Chevrolet Cobalt 2009 Lt 74000 miles
This car has been a headache since my wife went into a hole that was cutout of the road and should've had steel plates. It cracked the oil pan, transmission pan, and radiator. It was only a minute away from our house and everything drained out and lights came on. I replaced the transmission pan and oil pan and the radiator and filled it up and it started and ran but it keeps killing brandnew batteries. I cannot figure it out and I know it has an after market alarm system but honestly I don't know what is causing it to kill the batteries. Also their is no lights on to check for codes. Their was for power steering but that was just a fuse which I replaced but please help
