Hi everyone,
I have a problem with my BMW E87 — the warning light for an unfastened passenger seat belt is always on. It shows the seatbelt and airbag light even when there’s no one sitting in the passenger seat.
I already disconnected and reconnected the plug under the passenger seat, but it didn’t help. I also disconnected the battery (and even replaced it with a new one), but the warning still stays on.
Does anyone know what else I can check? Could it be the seat occupancy sensor (mat) that’s faulty?
Miałem taki sam problem, okazało się że czerwony przewód który idzie z akumulatora do tego komputerka co jest przy akumulatorze był poluzowany. Dokręciłem, usunąłem błędy i kontrolki zgasły.
I have these warning lights on every time I start the car. They reset after a while, but there’s no specific time — it can be 5 minutes, or sometimes they don’t reset the whole day. It doesn’t depend on the weather, whether it’s hot or cold. I’ve replaced the ABS sensor and the ABS ring. Can you help me figure out what it could be?
I should mention that while the warning lights are on, until they reset, I have no driver control over the windows, wipers, or sunroof.
Just out of curiosity have you plugged in your obd to clear the codes after your repair? I had these lights this weekend on my 2019 118i. Used a Bosch sensor
