Inside of it flows the hot refrigerant. Its purpose is to allow the air at room temperature between the fins to cool the refrigerant. It has 2 thick hoses, one in the opening (upper part) and another in the exit (lower part).
Hi every 10 or so days I get low coolant fluid notification and it always is empty so I just keep filling it every 10 days. The hoses are ok, but I do have a engine cover and all cover for the underbody so I see no leaks neither under the hood or under car, it doesnt go away fast only like 10 or so days. What should I do or maybe someone has experienced something similar?
I seem to have a parasitic draw but can't track it down. I have to charge my battery everyday. Alternator is new, Earth strap is new, IBS is new, mulf was not working so disconnected it and completed the fibre optic loop. Removed led gloves, replaced fan blower resistor. No codes at the moment but I have had a water pump out of speed warning but hasn't come back after clearing the code so could have been because it's on the same line as the alternator... I can't keep going like this. Somebody please help. Note. It's 178k kms not miles
I may have solved it... Maybe. It appears to have been a module refusing to go to sleep (just like a child 🤣)
Also, I can't believe that after reading posts on the internet for hours and hours I finally asked the question of "what is the usual SOC..."
It turns out these AGM batteries in conjunction with the IBS like to float around 60-70% SOC. Granted, mine is currently floating a little lower but doesn't seem to have a problem starting and charges up quickly. I may have an intermittent fault on the BSD Line (water pump or oil level sensor) which brings down the network and stops the alternator from charging the battery. I have both parts here ready to replace when I get a day or two to get it done. For now I'm monitoring the battery etc and keeping my fingers crossed
I have a coolant leak that i cant seem to stop, i have changed some horses and pipes and also o rings but im not quite sure if i have change all the o rings and seals so can i have a list of pipes that have o rings or seals that should be changed. I cant do a pressure test at the moment because im away from the nearest store where i can buy the parts if they burst. Help with some pointers that you think i should check. Thanks in advance
Upon a cold start a sharp noise comes from under the water pump stops when the engine is hot comes back again upon a hill climb. No overheating or bad fuel consumption.
