Clutch pedal: It activates the clutch mechanism that disengages the engine from the gearbox.

It can only be found in cars with a manual gearbox. It is the pedal on the left side. When the driver steps on it, the clutch is activated and this releases the gearbox from the power generated by the engine. At the same time, the whole traction system is released and the wheels can turn freely.
No crank no start. Several issues have risen since the truck originally brokedown. At some point someone insisted on pushing in the clutch pedal to switch gears but only snapped the plastic shaft going to slave cylinder and electronic switch. Additionally they broke part of the clutch switch although it does still connect. Another issue was that the neg terminal wire was grounded to the outside of the starter which I'm not sure but did that cause wiring issues. Unfortunately on top of that just below the ignition cylinder there was a single black wire that is connected to some type of connector that mounts to make contact with the cylinder itself that no longer is as attached
So I managed to fix grounding issues at starter, replaced some fuses and placement of the entire fuse box fuses, jumped my battery and started my truck at the solenoid. However even with shifter making it seem as if it's in gear the truck won't move???
