Car jumps sometimes when accerlerating

Runs fine on highway with no problems. When you get to town and stop at stop light it starts to buck and shake and rough engine. It will usually die but let it set a while it will start back up and if you go back on highway it runs great. Have replaced crank sensor and plugs and wires. Any suggestions??

My problem started after the car overheated, the cylinder head cracked because of the heat and it needed to be replaced. At the same time, the transmission oil was changed. The T/C light started turning on and, when it does so, every time I change the gears, they seem to generate a kick in the engine. It is not the only case but, every time I turn on the air conditioning, this failure takes place. If I am driving and the T/C light is off, then there is no gear failure either. The starter light sometimes turns on by itself as well. Something else: when the car stops moving, the air conditioning stops cooling too. Two sensors have been changed and a tuning was made, but the problems are still with me. Any recommendations?

Hi everyone, I have a Cavalier 96, 2.2 engine and I need your help. Since the day I bought it, I've been having starting problems. And even worse, sometimes once you finally made it start working, you need to accelerate it continuously or either it stalls. The fuel pump has already been checked and I've been adviced to change the TPS and oxygen sensors. What do you think?

03 Cavalier Ls Sport 2.2L Ecotech manual 5-Speed transmission. The car starts and drives But it is rough!! Idle is rough 1st gear to 5th gear it hesitates spits and sputters but it does go until I hit 70 mph and then it's beautiful it flies as if it's a brand new car that just came off the factory line, but it didn't and that's why I'm typing this!! I had a radiator hose issue and had the shop put it back on then 2 days later my car wouldn’t start then 4 hours later it started again. I went back to shop and he told me it could be the sensor for antifreeze but didn’t change it out now it’s doing the same thing again but won’t start even after 4 hours acts like it wants to but doesn’t

My ets sensor and engine light keep coming on and idk why and then I find out my tps sensor is bad tou think thats the issue and its a 2.4l twincam

I recently just did a stereo upgrade from factory system to aftermarket pioneer Bluetooth MP3 and I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it but after doing so my car all of a sudden won't stay on after starting it it just stalls out right away every single time I will check the fuses they are all good I've cleaned out the air intake of any fluid I just don't quite understand what the issue is I understand the mass airflow sensor could be the issue but I would like to get somebody else's opinion

Replaced starter, tps sensor, plugs, ign mod, coil, fuel filter, ckp sensor, ckd bat, cleaned fuel pressure reg, ckd timing chain. Still wont start almost eith gas pedal to floor help

I bought a new fuel pump and a new fuel relay sensor plugged everything back up on fuel pump and I still can't hear my fuel pump kick on what could it be?

I changed my throttle position sensor but my car still idles rough

Revisé fusibles, relay, sensor de temperatura, y electricidad en el conector. No enciende el electroventilador.

Obd2 sensor reads PDO34. Camshaft position sensor. Where is it located on the car?

No power to speed sensor keeps saying low output speed sensor

Fuel injectors were leaking. Replaced. O-ring split on install (without knowing). Gas filled (gallons) exhaust system. Fuel was leaking everywhere, blasting out tail pipe, blew a bunch of carbon out. Replaced o-rings. Changed spark plugs. Changed oil filter, replaced oil. Still ran rough. Fan was kicking on when it shouldn't (54 degrees out). Thermostat froze, replaced thermostat. Flushed radiator, replaced coolant. Rough start, once running it runs smooth on the freeway, no missing or anything. Starting scares the crap out of me. Check engine light comes on. It's throwing a code saying fuel to rich (or something like that). Planning on replacing the oxygen sensor. Any other ideas?

Starts fine sounds smooth. The minute it warms up it misses sputters stall dies. Have to double foot it to get it home. Let it cool off rand repeats all over again. I have replace all the sensors two new brains new cool packs new plugs and wires ran injector cleaner through it sea foam through it i'm ready to scream. One day it started acting up like this nothing traumatic happened to the car. Super frustrated. I read on a blog that where the computer is grounded under the coil packs sometimes the harness look like they are connected but here not getting enough connection they were all right. Any suggestions ? Help

Last Monday I got in my car started it and drive 1.5 miles home. It was very loud pulled in my parking lot parked, and turned key off. Waited bout an hour went out and checked my oil and to my surprise there wasn't any registering. I added 2qts and started it waited 10 minutes for car to warm up and noise starting away. Put it reverse backed 15ft changed to drive and it died. No restart. I have thus far have replaced the:
Ckp sensor
Starter
Fuel filter
Spark plugs
Fuel regulator
Coil above spark plugs. I'm getting spark and if leave foot on pedal a minute I smell gas. I've checked the pressure and it is right. It also turns over. I am stumped
