BMW X5 2010 3.0iIl meglio:N52 engine is a very well made reliable engine with no turbo to spend money to fix it. Handling is great. Can buy them used gir a fraction of original cost.Il peggio:Oil leaks, no oil dip stick. Need to change water pump at 80k even if no problems detected.
NOTE: AFTER an oil change manufacturer rec adding 9 qts of oil due to history of oil consumption. The oil level sensor will be triggered when you are two quarts low. The low mark on the electronic level. When you add one quart it will indicate full, but BMW rec adding 2 quarts if low range bottom line is sensed. If you have oil leak after changing oil you will go twice as long as usual to show low oil level.
