My windshield wipers will wipe once on intermittent then stop till i click up to next speed. They work fine on slow and fast. Any clues how to fix this?

When I turn on my wipers to any of the intermittent settings they will wipe once then no more after that. I have already replaced the multifunction switch with a brand new one and still have the same problem going on. Please help. P...S I only bought the vehicle a few days ago
