Rattling noise

Suzuki Swift 2006 manual 107085 miles
Every time I take off in first gear a rattling noise starts when I change to 2nd it's still there but ever so faintly noise is only in 1st and 2nd gear. What could this be. I brought the car 18th August 2015 only had it less then a year

When braking, a clunking sound followed by scraping noise. Seems to be getting worse. Developed over the last week.

I have very similar issue just started to occur with my 2018 Suzuki Swift. In for service 6 weeks ago, given all clear, brake pads almost new.

Just had garage look at issue & they tell me it is a plate on/around the brake pads coming a little too far forward. Did not agree that this was a possible design issue & wanted $480 to replace pads (may still happen) or $220 to file down the plate.
They did confirm issue is not doing any damage or affecting brake integrity so could just live with noise. I went with this option but still fail to see how this isn't a design issue the manufacture should rectify!

I have a Swift 2020 the same issue with brakes making grinding noise when breaking at a corner doing 40-50 km or down hills or just breaking heavily. I just had a 30 k service (which is only 17,000 on the speedometer ) the grinding noise wasn't as bad before the service but had been there previously. I took it back a week later they checked the brakes and told me it’s normal at the Suzuki Service Center. Past Suzuki cars I can’t recall them making such a noise when heavily on the brakes. Does any one have any suggestions on what the problem is.

Turns out it the cvt transmission had stuffed itself. I could've broken down in middle of nowhere if I had not gone to mechanic when I did. I dont know the specifics on what exactly caused the failure of it though
