I have the classic Peugeot 206 and it is hard for the vehicle to gain speed. On uphill roads, the speed decreases considerable and the acceleration engine makes a strage noise, like a purr. The worst thing is that I really need to strike to speed the car up.

Your clutch discs might be causing your failure. With time, they wear down until the car cannot traction properly and what it does is to slide.

Right after changing the clutch, a strange noise appeared; the car rattles every time I release the clutch to start driving. But this failure does not appear when I'm already driving and I change gears, only when starting the ride. In the workshop where the clutch was replaced they tell me they have no idea what might be happening, but what I know is that the noise was not there before they installed the new clutch.

It is the clutch wire that is self-adjusting. It might be getting damaged and I recommend you to change it because, in a couple of weeks, it will loosen even more and you will not be able to set any gear any longer.
Tive um problema com o meu 206 que até hoje não achei explicação, peguei a rodovia para uma pequena viagem e após mais ou menos 50km rodados o carro passou a fazer uma barulho estranho, parecia que estava moendo tudo, parei o carro e ao arrancar novamente o ruído começou, pude perceber que estava relacionado à marcha engatada. Abortei minha e dirigi de volta andando de segunda marcha devagar e controlando com acionamento da embreagem para amenizar o ruído. Depois de algum tempo rodando muito lentamente decidí engatar a quinta marcha, daí pra frente consegui seguir sem nenhum ruído, mas qualquer outra marcha que engatava voltava o ruído assustador. Quando estava dentro da cidade precisei parar, pois tinha uma conversão na subida, decidí arrancar de segunda e assim fiz, após isso percebí que o ruído havia desaparecido, curioso com isso utilizei todas as outras marchas e o barulho havia desaparecido do nada. Procurei o mecânico após isso e não havia nenhum vestígio no carro que sustentasse o meu relato, não havia uma falha que pudesse direcionar o problema, diante disso decidí continuar andando com o carro, pois não havia nenhum defeito. Até então o problema não se repetiu, mas sigo com muito receio de ser pêgo de surpresa novamente. Alguém sabe me dizer o que aconteceu com o meu carro?
Olá tenho 206 ano 2006 2007, o farol está com mal contato, quando ligo e dou luz alta ele não apaga, mais , esta ficando acesso.
Tengo casi el mismo problema solamente que en mi caso hace un ruido al momento de pisar el embrague y pasar de cambio , y ya es muy molesto cada ves que tengo que pasar de cambio todo el tiempo se escucha crack,crack, más crack, el otro día se quedo pegado el embrague en el fondo cuando lo prendí al auto y no boliviano hasta que se soltó y funcionó de nuevo. ¿Puede ser que también sea el cable del embrague?

Good afternoon. A month ago, an important maintainance was done to my car and it left the mechanic with a better compression and power. However, it has recently occurred to me that, after accelerating at 3000 rpm on a straight road and braking, the car lost power and revolutions dropped, as if it were about to stall. Even more, knockings are heard from the engine and the 2nd gear is powerless. Spark plugs have been checked and they are working, but numbers 2 and 3 have a problem of fuel burning. I do not know if it has to do with more air than necessary entering through some hose or if there is another kind of problem. The hydrovac has been checked and it is alright. Another thing is that the exhaust has got a strong smell. I would appreciate your help.

Hi, mercedes. What is happening to your car is that it has an injector that is not closing properly and fuel is always passing through that injector. That happened to my car, with the advantage that mine uses gnc, and I solved it by adding a relay to the fuel pump. I recommend you to take the car to a mechanic for the injectors to be tested. Hello, something similar occurred to me and I solved it by cleaning the throttle body. Hope it helps you.

Hello, what happens to me is that, when turning the steering completely, a strange noise appears and it feels as if the tires slided. Might it be the steering tie rod end? Recently, a buzzing appeared on the right side of the front end assembly, and it increases when speeding up.

It is the half shaft; the most probable thing is that the bellows is broken and needs to be replaced, but it can also be that it has lost its grease, and you can solve it simply by greasing it again.

When driving I notice a sound that jerks the car in most cases then this sign appears on the dash board “S” “❄️” it happens simultaneously then the car starts going slow and drags the sound of the engine changes. The moment I turn off the engine and turn it back on it stops then after a while it happens again. The valve body was changed same problem persisted, the gear engine changed same problem some one told me it might be electrical but when ever a machine is inserted to detect the problem it sees nothing. The car overall is good just this problem.
