I had the brakes changed, after that the airbag sensor light on the dash will not go off.

Air bag light came on after I turned my car off without putting it in park. The car jerked really hard, next time I got in the car it was on. Took to couple of shops, they said go to dealer to let them reset it but we already know how that's gonna turn out. Either they're gonna say it's something else or charge me an enormous price just to reset it. Any suggestions?
