They are activated with the lever that is placed on the left side of the steering wheel. They indicate which side our car is going to move to the other drivers. They are important to communicate with other drivers while there is traffic, as they show other our future actions, which contributes to traffic safety.
I replace the bulb when the bulb burned out. I still had the message on my dash. I changed the right and left bulb harness and am still getting the message for the right turn signal.
When my DLRs are turned on, they will go off when I use my blinker. Then come back on when the blinker turns off. It started a while back it's not how they're designed to work.
I left my t tops out overnight. It came a monsoon. I don't have headlights turn signals wipers and nothing buttons wise works on steering wheel. I need help fast I use my vehicle to work.
It will have to dry out. You can get damp rid and place it in the Jeep. For the future they do make a dash ponchos to protect it for those random showers. Best of luck.
