The moon roof wont work and I changed the fuse but the mechanism isnt showing signs of response.

Roof tilts but wont open when it drops down to slide back is it the relays

In the overhead console, near the sunroof switch a red warning light came on. Tried opening/closing the sun roof, turn the interior lights off/on and the red light stays on. It will go off when the exterior lights ( headlights, etc) go off, nothing else will turn it off. I didn't try the fuses, too much bother: it only a little bulb!
