Ford F-150 1994 302 5.0 133000 miles
Truck shifted fine, had to put a new Harmonic balancer and timing cover seal, all went smoothly, but now truck wont shift, makes no sense, tranny was rebuilt last spring, has less than 10k on it, any ideas??

Have re-set timing, seems to be doing a lot better

I'm with the same problem after pressing brake sometimes it relieve but you have to pray for this to happen
I had my brake booster and master center replaced and now my vehicle will not come out of gear as well

When I'm driving trans shifts ok on cold days but when it warms up it shifts from first too second fine but then acts like it goes into neutral and when i shift manully it won't shift out of second any ideas

I washed the underside of my truck after driving it for awhile l heard a noise and a couple days later on the warning lights came on and now it overheats

It makes the switch from first to second gear at very high revolutions or only when I take the foot off the pedal, and it doesn't downshift or it does it very harshly, sometimes going over 6000rpm. I've been told it's the "gearbox governor", does anybody know where it is or how to fix it?

The governor is outside the gearbox, where the shaft is connected, in a little black box
