Check your temperature sensor, check for resistance, check wiring, check if receiving power form the ecm. Check relays as well

Under the expansion tank on the radiator is the plug for those fans. These cars have issue with melting those plugs. Take the 2 10mm bolts out of expansion tank and move it out of the way to see, no need to take hoses off because its flexible enough to move over. The plugs can be bought from local auto parts store as they have been a very common issue with these cars.

Owning a ford escape is a nightmare. My escape just blows cold air on level 4 and it’s winter time.
I already got the heater blower replaced once. Didn’t even last 2 years it broke again. Never buying a ford car ever agin .

I'm finding this out it only blows hot air when on 4. The heater works fine. And now I'm starting to have issues with the backup camera either not coming on at all or it stays on for a while after being put into drive

Phantom overheating

Ford Escape 2013 Escape Fwd 1.6L 60000 miles
Vehicle will not produce heat at idle and will give x3 low coolant warnings then overheat and shut down. Also have a video of it sitting for 9hours and turn ignition to on position, it suddenly overheats warning with it not even running and pegs temp gauge.

Too much antifreeze

Ford Escape 2015  115000 miles
It consumes too much antifreeze, it does not emit steam through the exhaust pipe, it seems to be a leak, but it is not visible to the naked eye, the head cover was once changed, it had cracked due to overheating, this after 9 years of operation, now I cannot find the fault with this excessive consumption, help!

Overheating

Ford Escape 2003 XLT 250000 miles
Engine overheats after about 2-3 miles in the city; also sounds like a belt broke, but when I looked my belts were all fine. Overheating problem started first, added radiator fix solution and it stopped for the most part, then the belt sound started a week or so later.
