Battery dies

Ford Escape 2006 V6 100000 miles
I changed alternator aNd battery already but still same issue The battery light comes on and my battery overcharges And it has been hit and miss issue. It died and had towed to garage the boosted it and it fan great for a week and started same issue so we changed battery and alternator. Worked great next day 2 Nd day after battery light back on And over charging again turned it off and restarted next day to put in bay and everything read Good readings worked good again for 2 days but yesterday showed battery light and today it is dead again. The garage checked the main connection from alternator to battery and said it looks good? Recent work has been gas thing on frame changed and new spark plugs!

Battery drain

Ford Escape 2012 3.0 150000 miles
I have a voltage draining on this car around .8 amp when car is turned off after 5 min waiting. Check all fuse and found out that fuse 5 (Keypad illumination, Brake Shift Interlock (BSI), Passenger compartment fuse panel) circuit is the problem because its drop to .02 amp.
I unplugged cluster. Radio , hvac. Everything in the front of the car and still get .6 -.8 amp reading with the fuse in the slot !!! someone have a idea what could be the problem ? Thanks

Car won't start without jumping SolvedSolved

Ford Escape 2015 2.0 Ecoboost 121853 miles
I had the battery replaced, the alternator & starter were tested-both are good.
Have to jump the battery every morning before work and every night to come home from work. Code says to replace the main relay but upon further testing - all fuses are good. Something is pulling power and draining the battery within 10 minutes of shutting off the car. All power devices are unplugged from any power source inside the vehicle, yet something is still pulling power.

At a loss on how to find out what is causing the battery to drain so quickly.

I was able to get a diagnosis and it was stated that the main power relay needed to be replaced.

Get and install a remotee battery switch. This really help me. Battery can be disconnected remotely.

We put new hinges on back window as to what was causing battery drain and also took out fuses to back wiper and inside lights. Plus my landlord took out a few extra fuse for something but not sure what. Been running for, past two months anyways

It still running but brakes are done, sounds like steel on steel. So gonna get girlfriend to drive my 95 Honda accord while I get hers fixed

I had this issue on my 2015 Escape Titanium 1.5L ecoboost. There is a 150amp fuse on the front of the battery box that I replaced and solved the issue.

That seems easier then what my landlord did lol
He took first for the back door of 2012 escape

Parasitic drain

Ford Escape 2008 Escape 6 cylinder 200000 miles
Have an issue with a battery drain but found that when I pull fuse 26 in the passenger compartment fuses it no longer drains and will turn right over, even after a few days, before the battery was completely dead in about 8 hours, what is wrong and is it an expensive fix

Did you ever figure this out??
Msdaybreak from United States 3 years ago
Yes, apparently walmart sells shitty batteries that charge but won't hold a charge, I bought a new battery and it resolved itself!
CHRIS from United States 3 years ago
SERIOUSLY? THAT'S WHERE i GOT MY BATTERY AT TOO THAT I AM HAVING THE SAME ISSUE WITH.
Msdaybreak from United States 3 years ago
Ya, it will charge so they won't honor the warranty, I had to buy a new one from somewhere else, no issues since!
