When I reach speed between 35mph to 50mph the truck shakes. Transmission light stays on. Once I reach desired speed the shaking stops

Giving me a code that saying transmission governor related. I have changed it and the one next to it but still no change to it

Transmission seems to be having issues engaging into gear it started with having a hard time going into gear now its just not even trying but I have noticed that I can't hear the module anymore that works the valve

I was driving on a highway at 75 mph when suddenly, the dashboard indicated transmission temperature. The truth is this event took place only some days after an oil change had been done and there was no leakage. I stopped the car and started it again after 5 minutes, when the engine had cooled down. I had to do this for 8 to 10 times in 120 miles. I have not yet taken it to the mechanic and am thinking about consulting the agency first.

Motor starts stalling out @ 4000 rpm when accelerating wont shift into High just holds below 4 000

When starting my car, there is a considerable power loss. When it reaches 3000 rpm, its normal strength comes back, but again, when reducing the speed to 2000 rpm, it weakens. It has been scanned and no code was provided. The transmission has been repaired, so I would appreciate opinions because I don't know what else to do

My Dakota indicates error code P1745 and repair transmission. There is nothing damaged but the error codes are still there. I've already changed the solenoid's box and pressure solenoids but it remains the same. If I remove the code error, every time I turn to second gear, it appears back again.

Hey guys, quick question! I have a 2006 dakota Awd 4.7L. The transmission temp light randomly comes and goes. I have no sign of an overheating transmission. It's not discolored. It doesn't smell burnt, not shifting hard or late shifts like it should. If I turn the truck off and turn it back on it usually goes away for a while. Anything I should look at!?

Not wonting to shift gears and get stuck in one gear and when it's like that trying to pull out onto a highway is very hard cuz it wants to kind of like quit running and plus it uses ton of gas I can put gas in say on Thursday and not hardly go anywhere and my gas hand is almost on half just seems to be a transmission issue and is it a safety hazard when it comes true the transmission

The automatic transmission did not change from second to third gear. I was told it was the camshaft's sensor, it was repaired and worked properly for three months. It has now stopped working completely, all of the gears at the same time. The scanner indicates high pressure and a low in transmission, and the code it provides is p1745,

My Dodge Dakota 2007 is having steering failures. The pump sends a good pressure but, when connecting the hoses to the box, the steering makes a sound and it remains hard. It is really worrying me as the gearbox was renewed after 40000 km, and also because corrosion bubbles are appearing in the painting. Even more, the computer sometimes fails as if there were a problem in the spark plugs.

my engine got too hot and while it was overheating when I pulled over, it made a loud noise and then stopped when I plugged when I let it pull down and turn it back on now it won’t start. It turned over, but it won’t like there’s no spark to it. I plugged in the obd reader and it said p0601 code PCM issue.

Ok on 01 Dodge Dakota it shut off and no bus appeared in the odometer so I got new ECU and I found melted wires on the transmission plug so I put liquid tape on them let dry I turn the key on I heard very fast clicking so turned key off look around didn't see anything off so I proceeded to turn key back on this time the cluster blow a transistor so I went and go one put it in turn key on everything had power in side light radio,fan but the check engine light didn't come on and it wouldn't turn over like it was before the cluster burned so I checked out side fuse box couldn't find b… Read complete

Transmission not shifting properly

When riding down the road it starts bucking and searching like it's running out of gas change positioning sensor and still doing it again runs good for a minute and then goes right back to the old way

Hello all, This is my first posting. I hope someone can give me an idea of what to do, or what to replace to fix this thing. Also with all these problems is it safe to drive, or not. I have an 82 yr old mom that is missing doctors' appointments because of this. Starter drags and barely turns motor over. It tuns over like the battery is dead. If I hold the key in the start position it drags on then starts. New starter is acting like the old starter I replaced.

I'm going to get a lot of Mopar people mad but I'm looking for help with a 2004 Dakota that I put a small block chevy in. My issue is the wireharness, I can't find anything that can go from Dakota to old chevy... I'd like to plug into the factory harness to use dodge gauges and key ignition !! HELP

When truck sits and idles for while it won't shift from 2nd to 3rd. I have to turn it off and let it sit for while and then it will work again

My van started bucking when driving in reverse and suddenly stalled. I've changed: the pump, the discs, the turbine, valves body, sensors, ignition pump, oil. And after that, the bucking when in reverse stopped but it has started having problems when driving forwards. It is having starting problems, seems as though the gearbox slipped and, when driving, the gears won't change properly.
