Turn key to run jump 12volt to starter signal wire car will turn but will not start

Every time I try to connect to Android Auto via USB it says "Projection device not supported." I had no issues with this for a long time and all of the sudden the USB port stopped charging my phone and will no longer connect to the screen. How do I fix this? I have replaced the USB port and it still doesn't work.
