I bought this car used about a month ago maybe and the service all wheel drive system on the dash has been on since I bought it I've had it taken to AutoZone for them to read the codes and it came back saying to remove the debris or blockage from the ABS wheel speed sensor so when I took it too tire discounters for them to look at it they did a diagnostic test and said that someone programmed the codes wrong and to take it to the dealership and they got totally different codes so I took it to Goodyear and told them everything and they hooked up and diagnostic and got different codes and they said that there were no codes at all and that they won't do any work on it and to take it to a dealership

I have been having lots of problems with my Chevrolet, all of them really expensive to be solved. First it was the transmission, then the ABS and now the fuel pump.

I was told the problem was the fuel pump, but after an electrician examined it, the solution was repairing the computer's failure.
Thank you marvin. In my case a part of it was broken but, as they are made of only one piece, it cannot be repaired.
I had an Equinox 2005 and the cause is that the current is not reaching the pump's fuse. You should give direct electrical current to this fuse. The ABS is simply a sensor located in the tire that might need to be cleaned or changed. There is nothing problematic to worry about.
ABS sensor is in the wheel hub/brake caliper assembly...the one in the tire is the TPS (tire pressure sensor)

The ABS and TC indicators started turning on and activating, and thus when braking it feels rather rough and noisy.The wiring has been checked and, after the sensors were cleaned, it worked properly but only for two days. Thanks for anyone's help.

Disconnect the sensors and you won't have any problems. It is just like driving a car withouth ABS.
The same happened to me, the mechanic changed the harness which at first sight seemed to be fine and the noise disappeared. He said this was a typical problem, that the harness breaks on its inside due to the type of wire. Try this.

I have just bought my Equinox and I have already found many failures: the ABS indicator turns on and no one can tell me why, the interior plastics are disgusting and break too easily, and it has a terribly high gas consumption, as if it were 8 cylinders.

The ABS indicator may even turn on because one of your tires is different to the rest. It is quite frequent that it turns on after a brake checking. What you need to do is to reset your computer; there are some YouTube videos that can help you learn how to do it properly.

My ignition is hard to turn. When I try to turn the key. It is hard to turn. I wiggle the key. Move the steering wheel and push in the brakes. It feels like the key is about to break off in the ignition. My husband finally got it to turn. He told me to kept in acc mode. What is the problem?

Hey I just joined this website I have a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox 3.0L, I posted my a thread today. My service stabiltrack light is on, my traction control light is on, and my abs light is on. I am missing my midi fuse in engine compartment fuse box that controls the power steering, do you have a midi fuse for power steering in engine box?

Initially, the problem was with the ABS unit. They said it was the ABS module, but after replacing it, they said it was a connector issue. I replaced the connector, but the problem persisted. I tried reprogramming it, but nothing changed. However, recently it's been showing low voltage (line 5), and the car's fuse used to blow. After replacing it, the car would run, but now it doesn't blow. However, if the relay trips, the car will run. If anyone knows anything about this, please contact me.
