Need quick on/off free way for passenger airbags. My 56 lb dog.

My we 56 lb dog rides seatbelt in passenger seat. I don't want her injured or killed. Does Chevy equinox 2012 have special on off tricks? The sensor is a pain and takes a long time. Ignition sequence or hidden glove box button or something??? Going crazy. Thanks !

Plug is located under the seat...unplugging it will solve the issue.

My suv has both the tire warning on with a tps service needed on with also my airbag service needed!

My airbag light came on as a result of the lumbar support cushion in driver's seat blowing. Had to have airbag fixed. Light was on as the result of a wire breaking in the seat system. Had to take it to the dealership to be seen by an airbag specialist.
