Hello together,
I owned a Chevrolet Camaro in September 2022 and just got problems over problems since February 2023. I hears unusal noises, coming out of my engine. I thought it would be a connecting rod bearing damage. Nobody wanted to fix the engine. After weeks of search, i just found a workshop who want to fix it. The workshop replaced my timing chain, cause they thought it will solve the problem. After picking up my car and driving only like 20 miles, the car wouldnt start anymore. Progress, tho the vehicle still isnt repaired. Now i must repair the fuel pump itself. It was done improperly... so i am doing rework and repairing the fuel sending unit simulateously. Fuel gauge on dash board also did not work. Gauge problem is common in these cars from what ive read... I would say its a problem in the fuel sending unit (in the tank) most likely. The tank itself is not easy to remove... rear differential and exhaust must be dropped, unless an access door is cut in the inner body of the car... above the fuel pump (Take All Precautions if youre cutting with a grinder, or will create any sparks)
