My car suddenly died while driving on the highway. After a few minutes, it started again and I was able to continue driving. What could be the cause of this?

Randomly my car will cut out when I'm driving it (no warning, no spluttering), sometimes at low speed and more recently when I was driving on the highway. The center consol remains on but my engine cuts and so does the dashboard without warning. Steering wheel goes heavy. I put car back into park from drive and restarts without a problem.
Luckily till now I've had enough momentum to get to the side of the road. Happening randomly first like once a year then intervals like 6months, 3months, 1month etc. Happening more often most likely because I am driving it more frequently now.
Suzuki keeps trying it, because they cannot get it to faut why they have it over a few days they give it back to me.
Really interested to hear if anyone else is having this and if there was a fix.
