Hello, I have a big problem with my Matiz 2000. It is powerless and, at idle speed, once the normal working temperature is reached, revolutions raise and drop continuously, generating a low oil pressure. Even more, the car jerks considerably at any gear and both when cold or warm. In order to stop the jerking a little bit, I need to keep the clutch pressed more than usual, generating a disgusting burnt clutch smell. I've replaced everything already, including: cylinder head, valves, filters, fuel pump, sensors, TPS, IAC, spark plugs, wires, camshaft, timing belt, hoses, among many other things, but nothing got better. The car has got a good compression, around 160 pounds. I really do not know what else to do. Thanks in advance for any help you could give me.

I had a similar problem and the failure was the crankshaft axial play, as it was wrongly installed.

Luckily, my problem was finally solved. The camshaft has got a pin or cog that can be easily seen. In my eagerness to replace everything, I also changed the camshaft but, the one I bought, belonged to a Daewoo Tico and it was not exactly the same; this cog's position was the one that was slightly different. So I decided to buy a new Matiz camshaft and, when replacing it, the vehicle started working perfectly again. Hope I can help others with the same problem.

Hello guys am Douglas from Ghana west Africa. Please a have a problem with Matiz Chevrolet 0.8 engine capacity 2009 model. My timing belt got tier and it affected the valves. I have replaced with a new head but now the car can not pull. Please any help? Thank you!

My dawoo matiz problem is the car run on 1500/2000 RPM the missing is start end I push the accelerator to up the RPm 3000 the missing is gone the car speed to much fast what is the issue

Had a similar problem, found the earth from the alternator not good and the car was 100% after I connected it. Seems the ECU needs full voltage from the alternator and can't work on battery power alone. Can try this...

I got a problem with my Matiz I changed fuel pump , done service , new spark plug leads , map sensor and throttle sensor but my car still jerks while driving if I wanna change to another gear and miss fires

I still have the problem; I've already replaced my camshaft and crankshaft, and my car still has extreme difficulty starting after driving for a few minutes. (P.S.: my AC and engine fan are also malfunctioning, but I don't know if it's related)

Thank you very much for your help. I replaced one of the wires, which was damaged on the inside, and also changed the fuel and air filters and the 4 spark plugs. Luckily, the problem has been finally solved.
Hi, I have daewoo matiz which has been jerking for almost three weeks now, I have changed the fuel pump, the injectors and some switch sensors but it is still jerking. Any help???
Just do the timing settings(include the distributer) and change the sparkplugs

I have daewoo matiz 2008 it jerks at idle speed and low speed the Fuel consumption too is high at times the engine goes off. I changed the plugs and plugs cable, fuel pump, gasket and the coel but still any help

My joy matiz 3 dose no speed up sometime it's picks up and atimes too it run slow mean while you are accelerating

Does the speedometer read? If no, Check the speedometer pluck or replace it

I have a, same problem when my deawoo 1998 when it's that light come out and loose power oh jerking i did change oil plugs still doing the same

I took it to an auto electrician based on the recommendation of my mechanic. After several diagnosis, the issue was resolved but my fuel consumption increased more than twice the initial. In addition, the car jerks when at low speeds especially when the gears changing between 2 and 3.

It is very difficult starting it especially in the morning. It jerk's and off the engine by itself when the speed is low and sometimes do same when I stop at a traffic and attempt to move when the green light up. The car is a Daewoo matix 2

Hi everyone I have a 1999 daewoo matiz, everytime I start in the morning it drives well but after a few minutes it suddenly jerks and the check engine light comes on at the Sametime and if I switch it off and on again' it drives well and after a few minutes it does the same thing all-over again, I've tried all obd scanners but all cannot connect to the vehicle's ecu. Any ideas what could it be, any help is appreciated.

Mobil saya daewo matiz 800 CC langsamnya sering tiba2 turus saat on AC sehingga mesin mati. Saat dihidupkan lagi harus ditahan gas agar mesin tetap nyala kalo ga langsung mati lagi.
