Transmission: It is the place where the different "gears" of the cars are located.

There is a shaft that comes from the engine and then there is another one that comes out of it and goes to the wheels. Through a set of gears, it moves at different speeds even when the engine moves at just one constant speed, so it takes advantage of the engine's power. They may be manual or automatic.
Pull the air intake just past the air filter and clean it out with carb cleaner and a rag. It will have a lot of oil. Here’s a you tube video that explains it well. https://youtu.be/XhRGadjK3w4?si=a4TfNJ…
Haha. That dose nothing. You need to actually find the problem and fix it. I’ve done that to and it works for about a day. That’s not the main problem I assure you.
Is it the catalytic converter? I’m having the same issue, stabilitrak and service lights come on, and a few miles down the road it goes into limp mode.
I'm having issues with the entire electrical system of my 2017 Chevrolet traverse and it only acts up occasionally. One of the strange behaviors is not accelerating from stop. They're supposed to replace the harness in the next couple of weeks and we'll see if that makes a difference. The computer gives out a 50 different messages every time a reading has been done.
The traction control light keeps popping up I'm not sure why. It also happens while driving which isn't safe at all. What are the causes and how can I fix it immediately?
There is a sensor in your steering column to help with traction control and stabilitrack mine keeps coming on and we thought it may have been because my car was out of line I have done the alignment and still happens next step is to replace the sensor
The noise and vibrations can be many things, you should first get the tires checked and balanced, that can be the noise or vibration.
Second a test you can do lift the front of the vehicle from the frame or pinch welds as we call them. Shake the tire from left to right (3 and 9 o clock positions) and notice if there is any play or movement this means some of your suspension parts/ bushings/ bearings can be worn or damaged. Do the same test for the rear of the vehicle.
Check bushings push and pull on links and tie rods. If you hear noise while hitting bumps check the front and rear stabilizing bar bushings and end links.
Any vibration while accelerating points to Inner CV axle joints. Check the CV axles while your vehicle is lifted on the front end.
If you have more details you can share them and I can help answer your questions.
It cuts out when accelerating, especially around the time that it "changes gears" around 30-45 mph..it doesnt do it when you accelerate quickly (drive it hard) but when you accelerate slowly is when it does it. It will cut out for a few seconds then gain power/momentum again. We changed spark plugs and ignition coils, still doing it although not as bad as it had been. Could it be something related to throttle body or fuel pump/filter? Ive owned nissans all my life and the parts for this car are so much more expensive so really looking for some help please! Thanks!
