What would normally happen in my car is if I were to turn on the bright lights it will turn off all of the lights. If I turn on my fog lights, all of the lights will turn on. I'm pretty sure it's an electric harness problem since those year model cars tend to have problems with wiring. But in this writing will only be about the headlights.
The headlights (both lights) flicker and fail in cold or humid conditions, usually (southern California) winter, especially on nights. Often times it works during the day on winter and/or when it has been running for a while. It happens in automatic mode and when switching on manually. The high beams work
It was a combination of a faulty relay and lamp. Replaced both and the issue is completely gone for automatic and manual low beams headlight activation
No low beams at all. All other lights work, except when I hook up a trailer, then the trailer lights are sporatic. Replaced the fuses, relays, headlight switch, bulbs, and even the turn signal switch. Only thing I can figure is to trace the wiring and look for any bad spots.
You may have just got a bad light. Have you tried switching the one from the other side to see it works? Also you may want to check the connections on the harness to make sure nothing is corroded.
The engine starts, the car moves but no power in ac, windows, lights. We replaced burned/damaged BCM. Before we replaced BCM, headlights and brake lights working. You think the shop damaged my BCM? Because it seems the problems styes even after installing new BCM. Thanks.
